Alessandra Batista: Crafting a Career at the Intersection of Performance and Influence

How did you start your career in television, acting as a stage assistant on the show Legendários and later as a dancer on Faustão?

I worked as a model, but always liked a camera, since small. A beautiful day, the production of Record contacted me through Facebook and invited me to test for the program Legendários. I passed the test and worked for 6 years, from beginning to end of the program. At Legendários, I acted as a stage assistant, participating in the interactive frames along with the artists. When the show ended, I was a little sad, but I understood that cycles end.

As a child, I always loved to dance, drew attention at parties, but my parents could not put me in the Ballet. I did several jobs related to dance, such as fairs and performances in ballads, rodeos, among others. I was called to dance at the Oscar party, my teacher was choreographer of Faustão, which led me to do a test in Globo. Even though I was not a professional dancer, I passed the test and after obtaining my DRT, I realized my dream of participating in the program.

How did you build and maintain the trust of over 900,000 followers on Instagram? What aspects of your routine do you think resonate most with your audience?

I won most of the followers when I got on television. With the help of the marketing faculty, I promoted brands and obtained results for contractors. Currently, I share my healthy lifestyle and fashion and beauty tips.

Given the diversity of activities that you perform, how do you reconcile the routine of training, travel, work and daily life? What are the challenges and rewards of this balance? 

I see the diversity of activities as an essential choreography. Establish harmony between training, travel, work and my daily life with organization and prioritization. The challenges are constant, but the reward is in personal overcoming, in living different experiences and in the pleasure of finding balance in the midst of the agitation.
