Pamala Serena Rull, newly crowned Mrs UAE World 2022, “I am a UK-born Indian with a heart filled with culture, but emotion derived from the UAE. Together, we represent a culture of perfection, exactly what the land represents.”

Congrats on being crowned Mrs. World UAE. Can you tell me a little bit about your journey to the crown?

‘I am a British-born Indian lady, with a heart filled with culture but emotion derived from UAE. Together we represent a culture of perfection, exactly what the land I represent….represents.’

Pamala Serena demonstrates that no matter how many challenges you face, inner strength and good support can always bring you back if you’re determined. No journey is ever easy and to reach the goals you have to work hard and overcome obstacles to achieve them.

Could you walk us through your prep routine: diet, fitness, personality training, etc.?

For me, business projects are freedom from the world of work and working under someone. I am such a person that I have not obeyed since childhood. Business is an opportunity to fully manage my time, in my opinion, and build my own schedule and plans. To be free and financially independent and don’t depend on money.

How does it feel to represent the UAE on a global stage?

It’s a dream come true. I’m so proud & honored. I’m a girl with a heart filled with culture but emotion derived from UAE. Together we represent a culture of perfection, exactly what the land I represent….represents.’

UAE has made every resident feel a part of their community and as such I’m privileged to represent such a welcoming place as the United Arab Emirates

Since arriving in this city, I have seen it grow to become one of the most prominent cities in the world

From this, I have learned that structure planning, and patience really can help to deliver something as perfect as the land I’m proudly representing.

Since winning the title as reigning Mrs. Universe Dubai & now winning her new title Mrs. UAE World 2022. Accomplishing 2 major titles in one year is a huge achievement

What is beauty according to you and how do you drive purpose in beauty?

Beauty for Pamala has always come from the confidence that we are all individually alluring and blessed with talents, “ I want women across the globe to realize that no matter our current situation, there is always hope and faith at the end of the tunnel. We all have the power within us to achieve anything we set our minds to. The size of our goals doesn’t matter, each one is an achievement to be proud of.”

The beauty queens you look up to?

I look up to beauty queens that have made a difference

Getting a crown is not difficult but it’s what you actually do with it is the achievement

Myself, I’m using my titles, and my crowns I wish to continue working for women's empowerment and run charity campaigns that resonate with me. I want to raise awareness about mental health and equality in society.

There's long been this debate if beauty pageants are still relevant or not. What's your stand on this?

Beauty pageants & beauty queens are a tradition

Not only do pageants infuse immense confidence in women; but they also serve as a fine example of women empowering women. Young minds are charged when they see their idols achieving the impossible and representing their kind so passionately and effectively.

A confident woman has the power to make real change, starting in her local community with the potential to reach a global audience.

What does it mean to be a modern woman?

A modern woman is anyone who is living in the now, who questions, who asks, who challenges, who stands up for her rights and for others. “I think it's just as important to say no, as what you say yes to.”

Think like a Queen

A quality woman celebrates the good things that happen to other people. She doesn't get caught up in wondering why something good didn't happen to her instead. There aren't conditions on her love. She's not necessarily blind to character flaws, but she doesn't let that stop her from showing someone love now.

What are your hobbies?

I love meditating and relaxing my mind. I’m all about positive affirmations and yoga

I love cooking it’s a destress buster!

I love checking out new places, and restaurants and enjoy being on the “go” all the time

What is your personal style?

I’m quite the fashion icon

I adore to dress up

Look the part

I simply love fashion, clothes, shoes, bags, and accessories

I like to pair & match up practically everything but I have a unique style that the public eye adores!

How do you keep in shape?

I have a very active lifestyle so I’m constantly on the go with my photoshoots & event appearances and conferences. When I’m not training in the gym I enjoy going for long walks with my dog to get my steps in & trying to get lymphatic drainage massages and using the spa for the sauna & steam regularly to get rid of all the toxins in my body 

After all, I am human so I do love to indulge in amazing food and I have an extremely sweet tooth! But everything has a balance so portion control is important
