NAZ MAER

Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you based and what are you currently working on?

I am a designer working in Europe and Russia!

Now I am working on a collection that we will present at a show in Paris and Dubai!

When did you decide that you wanted to be a designer?

from early childhood, I was interested in cutting and sewing. I always knew that I would be a designer!

What made you take fashion more seriously and make a career out of it?

I started working with fashion houses, and I realized that this one is mine. I'm quite famous in America, Europe, and of course in Russia! In Russia, I often sit on the jury.

When you graduated from the Master's program, what made you decide to do a small collection?

I have always dreamed of making collections and participating in world fashion weeks! And I did it. I had shows in Milan, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Moscow, and Dubai. And many more countries. I am happy that I am loved and that I am in demand.

How has your work evolved since you began your own label?

I founded my fashion house in Moscow.  And now in many cities of the world, you can buy my outfits.  I dream of opening a store in LA)

What would you like to achieve before the end of the year?

I have achieved a lot thanks to my diligence.  But the dreams are even bigger, and of course, I want to be famous all over the world.  Now there is a lot of work, and this makes me happy!

What are you fascinated by at the moment and how does it feed into your work?

I am currently in Paris creating an haute couture collection.  And I'm getting ready for the show!

I read that you start each collection with a fabric. Has that always been the case?

Yes, you read that right.  My team and I have been creating the fabric ourselves for a long time, and then we make exclusive evening dresses for women from it.  For me, creating a collection is life.
